Sales & Operations Head – Build What Others Think Is Impossible


Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 18–22 years

Reports To: Managing Director

Business: 80 EBOs | 200 MBOs | E-Commerce

Scale Today: ₹100 Cr | Mandate: ₹300 Cr in 24–36 months


The Mandate

This is not a role for operators.

This is a role for builders .


We are an Indian ethnic wear brand ready to leap from ₹100 Cr to ₹300 Cr . The ambition is bold, the timeline is aggressive, and the expectations are uncompromising. We are looking for a Sales & Operations Head who can make the unthinkable possible , move with relentless urgency , and build a business that scales with speed, discipline, and heart.


Reporting directly to the Managing Director , this role sits at the very core of the company’s growth engine.

What You Will Own


1. End-to-End Business & P&L Ownership

  • Own topline, profitability, and execution across EBOs, MBOs, and E-Commerce.
  • Build and deliver the roadmap to scale from ₹100 Cr to ₹300 Cr in 24–36 months.
  • Drive a tight business cadence—daily reviews, weekly actions, quarterly outcomes.


2. Merchandising Excellence (Core Growth Lever)

  • Own the merchandising strategy across channels—right product, right quantity, right place, right time.
  • Drive assortment planning, range architecture, pricing, and margin management.
  • Improve sell-through, inventory turns, and GMROI across EBOs, MBOs, and digital.
  • Partner closely with design and sourcing teams to align product creation with commercial outcomes.


3. Business Development & New Store Openings (EBO / Franchise)

  • Lead aggressive new store expansion across metro, Tier 1, and high-potential Tier 2 cities.
  • Drive site identification, feasibility, ROI evaluation, and faster store rollouts.
  • Build a high-quality, disciplined franchise network with strong partner economics.
  • Ensure flawless store launch execution and rapid ramp-up to productivity.


4. High-Performance Retail Operations

  • Set gold standards for store operations, VM, manpower productivity, and customer experience.
  • Drive LFL growth, ATV, UPT, conversion, and shrinkage control.
  • Build scalable SOPs that enable speed without compromising brand integrity.


5. MBO & Distribution Growth

  • Transform the 200+ MBO network into a consistent, scalable growth engine.
  • Expand distribution, deepen regional penetration, and improve partner productivity.
  • Drive visibility, merchandising dominance, and secondary sales.


6. E-Commerce & Omni-Channel Scale-Up

  • Build E-Commerce as a meaningful, profitable channel across marketplaces and D2C.
  • Drive assortment strategy, pricing discipline, visibility, and conversion.
  • Enable true omni-channel execution—single inventory, single customer view, single brand experience.


7. Build a Championship Team

  • Hire, develop, and lead a best-in-class sales, merchandising, and operations leadership team .
  • Create a culture of ownership, speed, accountability, and execution excellence.
  • Raise the performance bar year after year.


What You Bring

  • 18–22 years of leadership experience in retail, apparel, fashion, or ethnic wear.
  • Proven track record of scaling multi-channel retail businesses aggressively.
  • Strong exposure to merchandising, franchise expansion, and e-commerce.
  • Deep commercial acumen with hands-on P&L ownership.
  • High energy, resilience, and an obsession with outcomes.
