Head of Operations - SCM

Reporting to: Business Head – UAE

Location: Dubai

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations across fuel delivery, dispatching & logistics
• Manage a large fleet of tankers, drivers, routing & real-time tracking
• Ensure strict compliance with UAE Civil Defence, RTA & Municipality standards
• Implement safety SOPs for fuel handling, loading, unloading & depot operations
• Drive operational excellence through KPIs, SLAs, and process optimization
• Oversee customer service, escalations & service reliability
• Deploy digital tools for scheduling, route planning & MIS dashboards
• Lead teams: supervisors, dispatchers, drivers & field personnel
• Manage fuel inventory, audits, reconciliation & wastage control

🔹 Ideal Background

• 12+ years’ experience in E2E Supply Chain Management , logistics, fuel operations, fleet management, Customer experience.
• Strong understanding of UAE fuel, HSE regulations, Regulatory frameworks .
• Proven experience scaling operations, implementing processes, and managing large fleet-based teams.
• Proficiency in ERP/logistics platforms, GPS tracking systems, and advanced MIS reporting tools.
• Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Should have exp in Logistics/Transportation/Fuel Industry etc
