About LeasePoint
We’re an AI-enabled equipment finance platform powering vendor programs at scale. Founded in 2016 in Austin; we've funded over $500M since inception. Think high-velocity originations, clean credit, and a B2B partner model vendors love.
Why this role exists
We’re adding a leader who lives at the intersection of people, process, and performance. You’ll rally the team, run the operating cadence, and be the CEO’s right hand. Your north star: a high-trust, high-accountability culture that hits plan.
What you’ll do
- Build the people engine: recruiting ops, onboarding, training, recognition, performance management, and corrective action when needed
- Set the operating cadence: weekly scorecards, WBR/MBR meetings, SLAs, and crisp follow-through across Sales and Ops
- Own the standards: attendance, dress code, policies, and consistent enforcement with empathy
- Run comp cycles: levels, pay bands, bonus/commission governance, promotions and merit reviews
- Coach managers: 1:1s, ride-alongs, call reviews, playbooks, and KPI-driven development for sales and ops teams
- Manage escalations: customer issues, cross-team blockers, and time-sensitive decisions alongside the CEO
- Partner on systems: work with our tech/process lead on HRIS/ATS/CRM/reporting so the machine runs smoothly
How success is measured
- 30 days: meeting cadence live, company scorecard published, policy audit complete
- 60 days: manager playbook rolled out, hiring/onboarding SLAs active, comp/bonus framework proposed
- 90 days: process adherence above 95%, first quarterly performance cycle completed, preventable escalations trending down
- 6–12 months: improved manager quality (eNPS/manager scores), stronger pipeline and service KPIs, clean audit-ready people ops
What you bring
- 7–12+ years across People and Operations, including 3+ years leading managers
- Track record standing up cadences, KPIs, and performance management in a growth environment
- Comfortable holding the line on standards while staying people-first
- Working knowledge of compliance, compensation design, and investigations with counsel when needed
- Systems-literate: HRIS/payroll, ATS, CRM, basic BI; clear, concise written communication
