About The Role This role is advertised under MENA Assistance but operates at parent company MMC Group level. MMC Group is a founder-led, medium-sized and scaling group operating across automotive services, technology, and media, with multiple operating companies and locations. We are hiring a Head of People Operations to lead and deliver the Group’s people function, strengthening structure, consistency, and resilience as the organisation continues to grow. This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced people operations professional who enjoys owning execution and evolving practical people operations within a dynamic, founder-led environment. This role owns delivery of people operations end-to-end and is accountable for both process and outcomes. Key Responsibilities: - Own and manage people operations across the Group - Manage contracts, visas, compliance, onboarding, probation, and exits - Lead recruitment delivery, ensuring roles are clearly defined and hiring is structured - Oversee employee relations and performance management - Draft, maintain, and enforce HR policies and people-related SOPs - Design and maintain clear organisational structures and reporting lines - Build organisational resilience through clear structure, documentation, and well-defined processes - Manage salary structures, reviews, promotions, and role changes
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in HR / People Operations - Proven end-to-end ownership in a founder-led, SME, or fast-scaling organisation - Strong working knowledge of UAE labour law and visa processes - Practical, structured, and execution-focused approach - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline - CIPD qualification (Level 5 or Level 7), or similar, is preferred
