Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated, motivated and innovative Head of Physics to join us at Oxted School. Start date: Easter 2025 or earlier if available.

We are looking for an inspirational teacher with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment, together with a commitment to bringing out the best in every student. We are fully supported by the senior leadership team, and you will be supported and developed through our extensive CPD programme with effective PPA allocation to support work/life balance. Working within The Howard Partnership Trust (THPT) provides opportunities for career progression across partner schools.

Responsibilities

• Be an inspirational Head of Physics with the ability to create a nurturing learning environment.
• Contribute to improving students' life chances and support a highly effective and supportive teaching team and enrichment programme.
• Collaborate with the SLT to plan and deliver high-quality Physics provision and participate in the school's CPD programme.
• Engage in the school's wider enrichment and activity offerings within THPT.
• Support workload wellbeing initiatives and uphold safeguarding and data protection standards.
