Head of Power Operations

Are you an experienced power operations leader with a proven track record of managing complex electrical infrastructure at scale and delivering high reliability? Our client, a well-established organisation in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Head of Power Operations to lead and transform a large electrical network during a critical phase of operational evolution.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Operations Leadership

• Lead daily power operations while driving long-term resilience and capacity planning.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply with zero tolerance for outages.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance across all electrical assets.

Medium & High Voltage Management

• Manage medium and high-voltage networks and distribution systems.
• Oversee in-building electrical systems, including motors, generators, and control systems.

Financial & Contractor Oversight

• Manage departmental budgets and cost control.
• Oversee procurement and supplier/contractor performance.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Approve technical documentation, tenders, and contracts.

Team Leadership

• Lead multidisciplinary technical teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience in electrical maintenance or power operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience within large-scale, complex environments.
• Strong expertise in medium/high voltage infrastructure, reliability planning, and operational resilience.
• Proven leadership of technical teams.
