Head of Private Equity
The Head of Private Equity will lead the firm’s private equity strategy, deal execution, portfolio management, and team oversight. This role is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, building and managing the portfolio, and driving value creation across investments.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the private equity investment strategy.
- Source, screen, and assess new investment opportunities.
- Lead financial, commercial, and operational due diligence.
- Structure and execute transactions, working with internal and external advisors.
- Oversee portfolio company performance and value creation initiatives.
- Monitor existing investments, including reporting, governance, and compliance.
- Manage relationships with fund managers, co-investors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare investment memos, portfolio updates, and presentations for senior leadership or investment committees.
- Lead, coach, and develop the private equity team.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
- Extensive experience in private equity, principal investing, investment banking, or a related investment role.
- Strong track record in sourcing, executing, and managing private equity investments.
- Deep knowledge of valuation, structuring, due diligence, and portfolio management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
Pay: QAR132.00 - QAR142.00 per hour
