Head of Procurement

Role Overview

Head of Procurement will lead all company sourcing and purchasing activities to ensure cost-effective acquisition of raw materials, primarily steel and related industrial inputs. This role requires strategic oversight of supplier relationships, contract negotiations and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with global and local suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely supply of steel and other raw materials.
• Lead supplier performance management, including audits, KPIs, and continuous improvement plans.
• Collaborate closely with production, finance, and logistics to align procurement with manufacturing needs and schedules.
• Oversee purchase order processing, contract management, and supplier risk assessments.
• Monitor market trends in steel and raw materials to anticipate price changes, supply risks, and new sourcing opportunities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop procurement team members to build a high-performing organization.
• Manage procurement budgets and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
