About The Job
Our Global Procurement team is looking for an experienced and strategic leader to drive procurement activities across
Eastern Europe and Türkiye
in line with our global procurement strategy. Reporting directly to the Chief Procurement Officer of the Franke Group in Switzerland, this role is part of the Global Central Procurement organization.
A key deliverable of this role is to exploit the supplier market in Türkiye and in the Eastern European countries to the benefit of the various Franke businesses. This will include the identification, validation, and contracting of suppliers across different countries, categories and product groups. The role also includes leading procurement operations in Türkiye and managing the local Procurement team in Türkiye.
The position is based at our Manisa plant (where we manufacture hoods) in Türkiye and requires regular travel.
Your tasks
Business Leadership, Management & Coordination

Define and execute sourcing strategies in Eastern Europe and Türkiye, aligned with Franke’s global procurement and product category strategies.

Develop a strong, high-quality supplier base and share insights on key categories, supplier alliances, and market trends.

Assess and qualify suppliers, ensuring compliance with Franke’s standards for quality, safety, and ethics.

Co-lead supplier selection and category management with Global Procurement and Product Category Management.

Manage supplier performance, resolve production and quality issues, and ensure continuity of supply.

Lead cross-functional initiatives and support integration of processes and technologies across the organization.

Drive business performance through accurate reporting, budgeting, spend analysis, and cost control.

Promote internal and external benchmarking and best practices to enhance procurement processes.

Lead, develop, and support the local procurement team in Türkiye.
Governance & Compliance

Ensure all procurement activities comply with Franke Group policies and local regulatory requirements.

Define and implement procurement policies and procedures for Eastern Europe and Türkiye.

Ensure clear accountability for compliance across the team and operations.
Stakeholder Relationship Management

Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and key suppliers.

Support strategic supplier alliances and ensure transparent communication.

Represent procurement in cross-functional initiatives and leadership discussions.
Requirements
Education & Qualifications
-
Master’s in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent preferred
-
Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus
-
Exposure to executive development or specialist procurement programs; CIPS or similar affiliations are an advantage

Skilled in developing sourcing and supplier strategies based on data and business needs

Experience

10+ years in business management, including 5+ years in senior procurement roles

Track record in strategic sourcing and supplier development in Eastern Europe and/or Türkiye

Experience with modern procurement practices and cross-functional leadership
-
P&L responsibility and multinational exposure are advantageous
