Background & Role Overview

The purpose of the Country Management Office (CMO) is to provide support to our projects within KSA and support and develop the running of the business in country. 

The CMO provides support to ensure that CTRD Arabia operates legally, efficiently and profitably. 

The CMO provides centralised support to the projects for administration, local operations and compliance.   

The GM CTRD Arabia leads the team and is supported by and exercises leadership and management control through 2 Functional Heads, one for Project Services and one for Business Services. 

The Head of Project Services leads and manages the functions that support the business’s projects and people; Deployment, Tasking Administration, Logistics, Fleet, Facilities Management. The Head of Project Services also owns the relationship with the outsourced Transport function.

Role Responsibilities 

Project Services Leadership 

  • Responsible for the delivery of the project and people support service functions and providing leadership and overarching management to the functional teams. 
  • Responsible for driving and overseeing the development of policies and processes that enhance effectiveness and efficiency in project support services functional areas. 
  • Responsible for ensuring that the quality of project support and of real-life support to the projects’ people is of the highest standard and for continuously seeking ways and means to improve them. 
  • Responsible for reporting, monitoring and control of project and people support functions. 

Knowledgebase Development 

  • Maintain authoritative and current expertise of the KSA visa system, ensuring comprehensive understanding of its evolving requirements, constraints and operational dependencies to guide decision-making and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. 
  • Responsible for ensuring the development and continual update of a Country Handbook that will serve as an employees’ guide and reference and its availability to all in-country staff. 

Team Development 

  • Build a high performance team with a coherent sense of purpose, foster collaboration and develop cross-functional integration. 
  • Drive the continuous professional development of direct reports and ensure they drive the continuous professional development of their direct reports. 
  • Provide coaching, mentorship and career development opportunities. 
  • Line management responsibility for the Logistics Manager, Deployment Assistant Manager and Tasking Administrator. 

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Manage project customer relationships and ensure close integration with Head of Business Services to deliver departmental coherence across the CMO. 
  • Communicate progress, challenges and outcomes effectively across the organisation. 
  • Relationship management responsibility for any outsourced functions and relevant third party service providers. 

Requirements 

Essential

  • Customer account management experience. 
  • Commercial project management experience. 
  • Business and project support services experience. 
  • Thorough knowledge of KSA business operating environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Sensitive security environment/framework experience. 
  • Excellent MS Office skills. 

Desirable 

  • Financial management. 
  • Senior stakeholder / relationship management. 
  • Conversational Arabic
