is seeking an experienced
Head of Risk Management
to lead the development and execution of an enterprise‑wide risk framework across its digital financial services, including remittance (FX) and e‑wallet operations.
This leadership role is responsible for safeguarding the company through robust risk governance, regulatory alignment, and proactive risk culture enhancement.
Role Purpose :
The Head of Risk Management will establish, implement, and embed a comprehensive risk management strategy across all business streams. The role ensures alignment with the company’s risk appetite, compliance requirements, and strategic objectives while protecting the organization’s assets and reputation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Risk Management Framework Development & Implementation

Develop and enhance an enterprise‑wide risk management (ERM) framework tailored to remittance and e‑wallet operations.

Establish risk appetite, tolerance levels, and KRIs aligned with business strategy.

Promote a strong risk‑aware culture through continuous communication and training.

Integrate risk management practices into planning, product development, and daily operations.
2. Risk Identification, Assessment & Analysis

Lead the identification and assessment of all material risks, including financial, operational, technological, legal, regulatory, and reputational.

Conduct risk assessments, scenario analyses, and stress tests for existing and new products/services.

Evaluate risks associated with new technologies, partnerships, and market expansions.

Monitor external developments, regulatory updates, and emerging risks in the fintech sector.
3. Risk Mitigation, Control & Monitoring

Design and oversee risk mitigation strategies and control measures.

Collaborate with business units to strengthen internal controls and ensure effectiveness.

Implement risk monitoring programs to track KRIs and exposures.

Oversee investigations of risk incidents and ensure corrective actions are executed.
4. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Liaison

Ensure all risk activities comply with applicable fintech‑related regulations across operating markets.

Serve as a primary point of contact for regulators, auditors, and external stakeholders on risk-related matters.

Supervise risk‑related regulatory reporting.

Collaborate closely with Compliance and AML/CFT teams to ensure unified risk governance.
5. Reporting & Communication

Prepare and deliver risk reports to senior leadership and governance bodies.

Communicate significant risk events, breaches, and emerging concerns promptly.
-
Support executive-level and board-level decision‑making through structured risk insights.
6. Business Continuity & Crisis Management
-
Oversee Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) development and testing.
-
Provide risk leadership during crisis or disruption events.
-
Ensure incident response processes are risk‑aligned and resilient.
7. Team Leadership & Development
-
Build and mentor a high-performing risk management team.
-
Foster cross-functional collaboration and embed risk management across business units.
-
Manage departmental resources and budget effectively.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as
FRM
,
PRM
,
CERA
,
CRISC
, or equivalent are highly desirable.
-
10–15 years of progressive experience
in risk management within fintech, financial services, payments, or banking industries.
-
Strong leadership presence, analytical capability, and regulatory awareness.
