Head of Sales – Design Engineering Services


Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Sales to lead our sales function for design and engineering services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building client relationships, driving revenue growth, and leading high-performing sales teams in the engineering, design, or technology sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets for design and engineering services.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities across target industries (e.g., construction, manufacturing, product design, technology).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, partners, and clients.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand service capabilities and tailor proposals to client needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client feedback to refine sales strategies.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
  • Qualifications & Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
    • 8–12 years of sales experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within engineering/design/technical services.
    • Strong network within industries utilizing design and engineering services.
    • Proven ability to develop strategies, close high-value deals, and grow revenue.
    • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
    • Results-driven with a strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling.
