Job Summary:
The Local Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing the company’s sales strategy for FMCG products within the local market to achieve sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership. The role focuses on driving sales performance, expanding market share, and ensuring excellence in execution of our date products across all FMCG sales channels, including modern trade, traditional trade, and wholesale. Through strategic planning, strong team leadership, and effective customer relationship management. The Local Sales Manager ensures that the company’s products achieve maximum reach, visibility, and commercial success.
Location : Sheikh Zayed
· Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company sales targets and market objectives.
· Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities, key customers, and emerging trends in the FMCG, Agriculture and F&B sectors.
· Prepare annual and monthly sales forecasts and budgets by region and by sales channel.
· Set and monitor pricing, promotions, and trade sales activities in alignment with company strategy and by coordination with marketing department.
Sales Operations Management· Establish clear sales targets and KPIs for the team and the sales department, ensuring performance is tracked and regularly reviewed.
· Oversee the execution of sales activities across all channels — modern trade, traditional trade, wholesale, and B2B sector .
· Ensure product availability, visibility, and proper shelf placement across key retail outlets.
· Coordinate with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure on-time delivery and stock availability.
· Training and monitoring the local sales team under supervision.
Customer Relationship Management· Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and retail chains.
· Negotiate trade agreements, pricing, and credit terms with major accounts.
· Address and resolve customer issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Development· Identify new business opportunities, sales channels, and potential partnerships agreements with potential parties.
· Monitor competitors’ activities and market trends to maintain competitive advantage.
· Recommend and execute local marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand awareness and product demand.
Reporting & Analysis· Monitor and analyze sales performance, market share, and profitability by product and region.
· Provide insights and recommendations for continuous sales improvement and market expansion.
