Head of Sales

We are seeking an experienced Head of Sales with strong expertise in Upwork bidding and online business development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the sales team, managing Upwork bidding strategies, generating leads, closing deals, and driving overall revenue growth. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of client acquisition through freelancing platform.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales and Upwork bidding strategies to generate new business.
  • Identify and bid on relevant projects on Upwork and other freelancing platforms.
  • Craft compelling and customized proposals according to client requirements.
  • Communicate with potential clients, understand their needs, and negotiate project terms.
  • Lead and manage the sales and bidding team to achieve monthly targets.
  • Build long-term relationships with international clients.
  • Monitor project pipeline, track leads, and ensure successful deal closures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to improve bidding strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, with 3+ years in Upwork bidding.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing projects on Upwork.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills.
  • Experience in managing a sales or bidding team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs250,000.00 per month
