Job Summary
The Sales & Operations Executive/Manager is responsible for driving business growth through client acquisition, managing end-to-end event operations, and ensuring seamless execution of all event deliverables. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, vendor management, and on-ground coordination skills to deliver successful corporate events, exhibitions, weddings, and artist-based events.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Identify and approach potential clients across corporate, institutional, and private sectors.
- Generate leads through networking, partnerships, and market research.
- Present event concepts, packages, and customised solutions to clients.
- Create and send proposals, quotations, and presentations as per client requirements.
- Handle negotiations and close sales to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients for repeat business.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for promotional campaigns, brand visibility, and pitch materials.
2. Client Servicing
- Understand client objectives and convert them into actionable event plans.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients before, during, and after events.
- Ensure timely communication, updates, and documentation to maintain high client satisfaction.
- Manage changes, revisions, and expectations professionally.
3. Event Operations & Execution
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, artists, exhibitors, production teams, and venue partners.
- Oversee venue selection, site visits, layouts, production requirements, and logistics.
- Create event flow, timelines, checklists, and operational plans for smooth execution.
- Ensure all event elements (production, hospitality, artist management, technical setup, manpower) are delivered within timelines.
- Handle on-ground supervision during events to ensure flawless execution.
- Manage budgets, invoicing, and cost optimisation without compromising quality.
4. Coordination & Administration
- Maintain CRM records, sales reports, and event documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, vendor contracts, and operational standards.
- Coordinate with finance for billing, payment follow-ups, and vendor settlements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and sales reports.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation and sales pitching abilities.
- Good understanding of event production, logistics, and vendor ecosystem.
- Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and basic budgeting.
- Problem-solving attitude with strong organisational skills.
- On-ground event handling experience is a must.
Experience & Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in events, exhibitions, artist management, or hospitality industry.
- Graduate in any discipline; MBA/Marketing is a plus.
- Proven track record in sales and event execution roles.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
