Head of Sales - Hospitality / Catering Experience

Sugar & Spice is a fast-growing premium catering and events company known for its elevated experiences, artistic food presentations, and exceptional client service. We serve private events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and high-end celebrations with a strong focus on quality, creativity, and customer satisfaction. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Head of Sales to lead our growth journey.

Job Summary

The Head of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a high-impact sales strategy that drives revenue growth, increases market share, and expands Sugar & Spice's presence across key customer segments. This role requires strong leadership, deep experience in B2B/B2C sales, and a strong understanding of the catering, events, or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Leadership & Strategy
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives.
    • Lead, manage, and mentor the sales team to achieve monthly and annual targets.
    • Identify new market opportunities and build strategic partnerships.
  2. Business Development
    • Drive new client acquisition across corporate accounts, private clients, event planners, hotels, and venues.
    • Build strong relationships with high-value clients and maintain long-term partnerships.
    • Attend major events and industry gatherings to represent Sugar & Spice.
  3. Account Management
    • Oversee and support the sales team in preparing proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
    • Ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations to maintain service excellence.
    • Handle VIP or strategic accounts personally when required.
  4. Performance Management
    • Set KPIs, track performance, and provide regular sales forecasts and reports.
    • Optimize the sales pipeline, CRM usage, and conversion through data-driven decisions.
    • Collaborate with marketing to develop campaigns that support lead generation and brand visibility.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in sales, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in catering, events, F&B, hospitality, or luxury services is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong leadership qualities and team management experience.
  • CRM knowledge (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce or similar) is a plus.
