Head of Sales & Marketing

Company Overview

We are an established and growing manufacturer of aluminium ROPP closures supplying the beverage, food and pharmaceutical industries in Pakistan and international export markets. Our factory operates high-speed production lines including aluminium presses, lining machines, inspection systems, and automated packing lines.

We are looking for a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead and scale our commercial operations, drive revenue growth, strengthen customer relationships, and build a high-performing sales and marketing team.

Position Summary

The Head of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for overall sales strategy, execution, team leadership, CRM management, and marketing coordination. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic planning with day-to-day sales execution, customer engagement, and performance monitoring.

The role reports directly to senior management and works closely with production, planning, finance, and quality teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and execute short-term and long-term sales strategies aligned with company growth objectives
  • Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer retention
  • Set annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets and ensure achievement
  • Identify new business opportunities, key accounts, and emerging markets
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements with customers

Team Management & Supervision

  • Lead, supervise, and motivate Sales & Marketing Officers
  • Define clear KPIs, targets, and performance benchmarks for the sales team
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and training
  • Ensure proper task allocation, follow-ups, and accountability within the team

CRM & Customer Management

  • Own and manage CRM activities (leads, opportunities, pipelines, follow-ups)
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry and reporting by the sales team
  • Monitor customer complaints, feedback, and after-sales support in coordination with internal departments
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers and distributors

Marketing & Brand Development

  • Coordinate and oversee marketing activities (catalogues, presentations, product positioning)
  • Support branding, promotional campaigns, and trade marketing initiatives
  • Work with management on pricing strategies, product launches, and market positioning
  • Represent the company in exhibitions, trade fairs, and client meetings when required

Coordination & Reporting

  • Work closely with production, planning, and logistics to align sales forecasts with capacity
  • Coordinate with finance for credit control, outstanding payments, and customer limits
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to management
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing dynamics

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field
  • 8–12+ years of progressive experience in sales and marketing
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (packaging, FMCG, industrial products preferred)
  • Strong background in team leadership and CRM-driven sales processes
  • Experience dealing with B2B customers, distributors, and institutional clients
