Head of Sales & Procurement - Gaming Industry

The Role

As our Head of Sales & Procurement, you will be the engine of our growth and the steward of our stability. You’ll spend your time driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives while also procuring inventory to be sold through our stores and online. You will also be the only employee who is a full time office worker, so we would love if you had payroll bookeeping experience. We have around 30 employees and two locations across Eastern KY.

Key Responsibilities

• Revenue Growth: Act as the primary sales representative, managing client relationships and identifying new opportunities within the games and collectibles market.
• Financial Oversight: Manage full-cycle payroll filing and general bookkeeping via QuickBooks.
• Administrative Leadership: Handle essential secretarial duties, ensuring company documentation and filings are up to date.
• Strategic Planning: Help bridge the gap between sales targets and financial health to ensure sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• The Sales Background: Proven experience as a Sales Rep or in a similar revenue-generating role. You know how to pitch, follow up, and close.
• The Technical Skillset: Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and payroll processing is a must. You should be comfortable with general office administration and secretarial tasks.
• Industry Passion: A strong interest in games, toys, cards, or comics is required. Previous professional experience in this industry is a major plus.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred, though we value relevant experience and "street smarts" highly.
• Adaptability: This is a hybrid role. You must be able to work independently while remote but commit to being in-office at least 2 days a week.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
