Job Purpose:
Oversee the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of healthcare facilities and utilities, ensuring uninterrupted patient care, compliance, and optimal utilization of resources within approved budgets.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee operations of all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, utilities, infrastructure, and support services to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted healthcare operations.

Develop and implement preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs; enhance efficiency and resource utilization.

Develop and execute facilities management strategy, annual operational plans, and performance objectives aligned with organizational goals.

Prepare technical specs for maintenance tenders; supervise contractors; review reports; approve payments; enforce penalties per contracts.

Ensure compliance with local authorities and international accreditation standards via audits and documentation.

Maintain asset registers, maintenance records, and lifecycle data; develop asset replacement and optimization plans based on performance and risk.

Monitor and control maintenance budgets, resource utilization, and operational costs; identify and implement cost optimization initiatives.

Identify and mitigate operational risks; respond to emergencies, lead troubleshooting efforts, and ensure rapid restoration of critical systems.

Lead inspections and quality checks across maintenance phases; chair/participate in technical committees.
Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.
Master’s Degree in FM/energy/safety.
Certification in Maintenance / Safety / Healthcare Engineering (optional).
Experience Requirements:
7–8 years
- Including
3 years
in managerial/supervisory roles within facilities management, preferably healthcare.
