Head of Sourcing

A rapidly expanding global activewear brand in Dubai is seeking a Head of Sourcing to lead their end-to-end sourcing function across multiple regions.

As they scale, they are investing heavily in product excellence, advanced fabric development, and global sourcing capabilities.

The Role

You will lead the end-to-end global sourcing strategy, managing suppliers, fabrics, development, and production across multiple regions.

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with brand growth, product direction, cost structures, and quality standards.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers and factories to drive innovation and capability expansion.
• Maintain a strong understanding of global sourcing trends, technical fabrics, new technologies, and competitive benchmarks.
• Own vendor scorecards, performance reviews, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead and mentor sourcing and quality teams in China and Hong Kong, building a culture of high performance and accountability.
• Manage long-term partnerships with key factories, mills, and raw material suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, and capacity to secure efficiency and flexibility.
• Oversee compliance, environmental standards, quality systems, and responsible sourcing practices.
• Drive fabric innovation in partnership with mills and support Design/PD with timely sample development.
• Partner with Supply Chain to optimise production schedules, lead times, and logistics flow.
• Support PLM upgrades and strengthen system discipline.
• Prepare annual sourcing budgets and forecasts, track KPIs, and identify margin improvement

About You

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in apparel sourcing, production, or supply chain.
• Strong technical knowledge of fabrics, performance textiles, activewear construction, and global manufacturing.
• Excellent negotiation, supplier management, and project management capability.
• Clear communicator with the ability to work cross-culturally (teams across China/Hong Kong).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin: Mandarin is essential for this role .
• Based in Dubai or willing to relocate, with availability to travel when needed.
