Job Title: Head of Sourcing – Luxury Soft Home Furnishings
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat

Job Summary: The Head of Sourcing will be instrumental in identifying and
securing the finest materials and products that align with our brand's vision of
luxury and quality. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in global
sourcing, a deep understanding of the luxury goods sector, and a proven ability to
build strong relationships with suppliers and artisans. The candidate will be
responsible for carrying out all negotiations with vendors, manufacturers &
agencies to obtain the best combination of quality, quantity, price, delivery, terms
of payment & reliability of supply.

Key Responsibilities:
 Develop and execute a comprehensive sourcing strategy that ensures access
to high-quality materials and finished products.
 Conduct global market research to identify potential suppliers,
manufacturers, and artisans who meet our stringent quality and ethical
standards.
 Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best quality,
prices, and lead times.
 Collaborate with the design and product development teams to source
materials and products that are in line with the brand's aesthetic and quality
expectations.
 Implement and manage a robust supplier evaluation and performance
monitoring system. Ensure compliance with trade regulations, sustainability practices, and
ethical sourcing standards.
 Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including quality control,
shipping, and logistics.
 Build and maintain a flexible and responsive supply chain capable of
adapting to changing market demands and scaling with the company's
growth.
 Recruit, lead & develop a sourcing team, setting clear goals and providing
guidance to achieve departmental objectives.
 Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and innovative sourcing
strategies to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
master's degree is a plus point.
 5-10 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a significant focus
on luxury goods or home furnishings.
 Strong network of contacts within the luxury goods supply chain.
 Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
 Knowledge of trade & customs regulations, and shipping logistics.
 Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
 Proficiency in sourcing-related software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office
Suite.
 Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in
multiple languages being an asset.
 Willingness to travel to visit suppliers and attend trade events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,500,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per month
