The Head of Supply Chain to lead and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless alignment between demand, production, inventory, and logistics to deliver on-time, cost-effective, and compliant supply. The role drives efficiency, digital transformation, and continuous improvement while balancing service levels, cost, and operational resilience.
Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-end Supply Chain Management:

Lead the entire supply chain, from procurement and manufacturing to distribution, ensuring efficiency, cost control, and risk mitigation.
2. Strategic Leadership:

Develop and execute supply chain strategies that align with Arcera TechOps business objectives, supporting growth, profitability, and market competitiveness.

Implement the TechOps strategy in Supply chain in the site.
3. Operational Excellence:

Production Planning: Develop and execute production plans aligned with demand forecasts, inventory targets, and plant capacity to meet customer demand while minimizing stockouts and excess inventory.

Supply Planning: Conduct demand forecasting, inventory analysis, and supplier collaboration to ensure smooth material flow. Develop contingency plans to mitigate supply risks and disruptions.

Supplier Management: Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness, reliability, and risk mitigation.

Procurement Operations: Lead procurement activities to secure raw materials, components, and packaging in line with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

Contract Negotiation: Establish supply agreements, negotiate contracts, and drive supplier performance improvement.

Logistics & Distribution: Oversee transportation, warehousing, and delivery processes, ensuring cost-effective and reliable supply chain execution.

Warehouse & Inventory Management: Optimize warehouse operations to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient storage, and safety compliance. Implement systems for real-time tracking and monitoring.

Logistics Strategy: Develop and implement logistics strategies, including transportation optimization, 3PL management, and route efficiency improvements.

Customer Service: Ensure timely delivery and cost-effective logistics operations, monitor performance metrics, and continuously improve logistics processes.
4. Crisis and risk leadership:

Risk Management Implement robust risk management strategies to address potential supply chain disruptions, including supplier reliability, geopolitical risks, and operational bottlenecks.
5. Talent & Team Development:

Leadership & People Development Build and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence, proper succession planning, training, and capability-building within the supply chain function.
6. Governance and compliance:

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.

More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and extensive understanding of the Business. processes in the areas of production planning, purchasing, scheduling and warehouse logistics.

More than 10 years of experience in the management of the supply chain.
-
Proficient level of SAP (MM/WM/PP/SD, APO, PDS).
-
Timeline appropriate procurement of all products necessary for production and distribution.

Timely availability of product of finished product in coordination with customer orders.

Stocks for raw materials, packaging products, products and finished products.

Having agility, business acumen, analytical skills, and good communication skills.
