Role Overview

The Head Pastry Chef will oversee all pastry kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards in quality, taste, and presentation. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, and experienced in producing laminated pastries (especially croissants), cakes, and sweets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the pastry kitchen’s daily operations.
  • Develop creative menus focusing on croissants, desserts, and sweets aligned with the café’s concept.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate pastry staff for consistent product quality.
  • Ensure all pastries meet Company's standards for presentation and flavor.
  • Manage inventory, cost control, and minimize waste.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with management for menu development, seasonal promotions, and events.

Requirements

  • Have proven 3 years experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Pastry Chef in a café or bakery setting.
  • Expertise in laminated dough, croissant production, and dessert plating.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
  • Creativity and passion for pastry innovation.
  • Diploma or certification in Pastry or Culinary Arts preferred.
