Position: Head Pastry Chef

We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in chocolate production, a strong sense of creativity and innovation, and exceptional attention to detail in finishing and presentation. A passion for craftsmanship, consistency, and high-quality execution is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and refine chocolate-based pastries, fillings, and confections in line with company standards
• Handle chocolate processes, including tempering, molding, enrobing, and finishing
• Scale recipes accurately from test batches to large-scale production
• Ensure consistent quality, taste, texture, and appearance across all products
• Manage pastry inventory, ordering, and cost control
• Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Train, supervise, and mentor pastry staff (if applicable)
• Follow and enforce food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu planning and events

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Cook in a professional kitchen
• Strong knowledge of chocolate handling (tempering, molding, enrobing)
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for pastry innovation
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Culinary degree or formal pastry training preferred, but not required
• Must have HACCP Level 3 Certificate

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
