Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily cleaning activities of the housekeeping team, focusing on guest rooms, corridors, and public spaces.
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet hotel standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
• Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and use of cleaning equipment to promote efficiency and safety.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to maintain seamless operations.
• Conduct regular inspections of rooms and areas to uphold quality standards and address any deficiencies promptly.
• Implement industrial cleaning practices when necessary for specialized areas or deep-cleaning projects.
• Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, motivation, and team development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, or janitorial roles with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet maintenance, and sanitation protocols.
• Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations.
• Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies is highly desirable.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
