Role Overview
The
Head of SEO
will lead end-to-end SEO strategy — from technical optimization and content architecture to analytics and growth experimentation. This role requires a data-driven growth leader who can combine strategic vision with hands-on execution to deliver sustainable organic growth.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and own the
SEO roadmap
across products, platforms, and geographies.

Lead all aspects of
on-page, off-page, and technical SEO
to maximize visibility and organic traffic.

Partner with Product, Engineering, and Content teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded across all initiatives.

Identify new opportunities for
keyword expansion, content optimization, and link-building
.

Drive continuous improvement in
Core Web Vitals
, crawl efficiency, and site architecture.

Monitor and report SEO performance using tools like
Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs
, etc.

Stay ahead of
search engine algorithm updates
, industry trends, and competitor strategies.

Build and mentor a high-performing SEO team, managing internal resources and agency partnerships.

Collaborate with Marketing and Growth teams to align SEO with overall
traffic acquisition and conversion goals

Key Skills & Competencies

Proven experience (10+ years) leading SEO for large-scale
consumer tech / marketplace / e-commerce platforms

Strong understanding of
technical SEO
,
content SEO
, and
local SEO
dynamics.

Expertise in
web analytics, keyword research, and SEO tools
(GA4, GSC, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.).

Excellent grasp of
HTML, JavaScript, site architecture
, and
CRO fundamentals
.

Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate insights effectively to cross-functional teams.

Experience working closely with
product and tech teams
in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
