We’re looking for a dynamic leader in Supply chain Management, to head our Services Sourcing Vertical. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, transformation-led environment and brings deep expertise in vendor management, contract negotiations, and stakeholder alignment.

Job Title: Head, Services Sourcing

Function: Supply Chain Management

Reporting to : Head - SCM

Job Purpose:

• Oversee the procurement of services (Opex, manpower, etc.) required by all the circles during deployment of projects and maintenance of existing sites
• Identify, select and evaluate the vendors providing the service to ensure high quality delivery at the circle

Job Responsibilities:

Vendor Management:

• Identify a list of service vendors based on inputs from Circle SCM Manager regarding business requirement
• Evaluate service vendors based on various parameters like specifications, quality, time, price and SLAs etc.
• Act as the first level of approval for all services procured for operational activities before seeking the approval of Head - SCM
• Maintain the master list of all approved vendors to be used for the procurement of different services required at the circles and at the Head Office
• Ensure that the services delivered are compliant with the quality expectations
• Review documentation and licensing process on a regular basis to avoid any issues or resolve any issues (as needed)
• Assess and validate service vendor performance basis compliance with contract terms, product quality and on time delivery and the feedback from Circle SCM Manager and Circle Head and other team members
• Design appropriate reporting and monitoring mechanisms that clearly highlight cost savings achieved by category/supplier and validate service vendor performance & concerns

Internal Customer Satisfaction:

• Provide monthly activity and benchmarking reports to leadership as required
• Supervise of procurement across all categories and ensuring that overall procurement cost is optimized
• Review reports and documentation on the delivery of services
• Adhere to policies and procedures established by leadership to ensure compliance with all statutory requirements in procurement and vendor management

Supply Chain Budgeting:

• Conduct annual planning, budget and provide final approvals for the procurement activities
• Create savings within procurement and aggressively pursue cost-saving opportunities with service supplier channel partners

People Management & Development:

• Allocate responsibilities to the members within team, supervise performance, resolve grievances, counsel and mentor team members
• Lead and provide guidance to direct reports
• Monitor attrition in the team and drive engagement initiatives to build morale
• Ensure the timely completion of performance appraisals with quality review and inputs from Managers in order to increase the capability and morale of the team to deliver goals
• Support in recruitment related activities to meet the manpower needs of the business
