Head Start Teacher

***SALARY IS DEPENDENT ON POSITION, LEVEL OF DEGREE, AND EXPERIENCE***

Impact Learning Center is looking for Assistant Head Start Teachers that are caring, hardworking, self-motivated and able instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual, social and physical growth. This is in partnership with the new Duval County Head Start Grant. **ASSISTANT TEACHERS MUST HAVE PRESCHOOL CDA & 45 DCF HOURS.**

Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields

• Experienced with Head Start is preferred
• Must be able to implement curriculum based lesson plans
• Should be familiar with and perform developmental assessments
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children & families
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• MUST HAVE 45 DCF HRS
• ASSISTANT TEACHERS MUST HAVE PRESCHOOL CDA
• Must be able to pass a background check

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
