Shahwilayat Public School is seeking a dynamic and experienced O’ Levels Headmistress to lead the Cambridge O Level section with academic excellence, strong leadership, and effective administrative management.

Role Description

As the Headmistress for the O-Level program at Shahwilayat Public School, you will oversee the academic and administrative operations of the O-Level section. Responsibilities include leading curriculum development and implementation, ensuring high-quality teaching, managing faculty, and fostering a positive learning environment. You will also be responsible for communication with students, parents, and staff to ensure alignment with the school’s mission and values. This is a full-time on-site role based in the Karachi Division.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Curriculum Development and Pedagogy to create and implement effective educational frameworks
• Strong background in Education with a solid understanding of O-Level standards and requirements
• Proven skills in Educational Leadership to manage and support teaching staff and administrative teams
• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with stakeholders, including parents, faculty, and students
• Ability to foster an inclusive and supportive educational environment
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a master’s degree preferred
• Prior experience in a leadership or administrative role within an academic institution is a strong advantage
• Oversee implementation of the Cambridge O Level curriculum and academic standards.
• Supervise faculty performance, lesson planning, and examination preparation.
• Monitor student progress, discipline, and overall academic outcomes.
• Conduct structured parent meetings and manage academic concerns.
• Ensure compliance with Trust policies and coordinate with HR and Administration.
• Participate in recruitment, evaluation, and staff development processes.

Eligibility Criteria

• Master’s Degree (Education or relevant field preferred).
• 5 years of academic leadership experience (Cambridge background preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and administrative skills.
• Sound understanding of O Level academic and examination framework.
