About the Role:
The Assistant Manager plays a key role in supporting the department manager with the operational success of a single location. This role ensures that employees are supported and guided throughout their shift while enforcing service standards and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise staff during scheduled shifts and ensure tasks are completed
Assist with onboarding and training new employees
Help maintain proper inventory levels and complete restocking as needed
Assist with cost management
Open or close the location in line with store procedures
Assist with scheduling and managing labor
Lead by example to maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere
Address minor performance or attendance issues and escalate when necessary
Step into various roles as needed during staff shortages
Support team morale and communication
Respond to customer inquiries or complaints appropriately
Ensure cleanliness and compliance with all food safety or retail standards
Lead Bartender Role

Requirements:
1–2 years of experience in a team lead or supervisory role
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions with hands and arms such as typing, writing, and cleaning
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including verbal and written forms (e.g., team conversations, shift reports)
Must be able to communicate clearly and follow procedures in English
Must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays

Must obtain a valid California Food Handlers Card within 60 days of hire if not already certified.
Must obtain a valid Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control within 60 days of hire if not already certified. If not already certified, training and certification will be provided by the company.
