About the role:
Are you passionate about driving Health & Safety standards from good to great? We're looking for a Health & Safety Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our strategic direction across Logistics and Retail.
Working closely with our Health & Safety Manager, you'll help define and uphold compliance standards, embed best practices into daily operations, and provide data-driven insights to senior stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on collaboration, champions change, and wants to make a real impact.
- Location: Nationwide (Travel Required)
- Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week)
What can you expect to be doing:
- Champion our Health & Safety strategy across Logistics and Retail.
- Monitor compliance with policies, procedures, and legal obligations.
- Analyse data and produce high-quality reports to identify risks and recommend improvements.
- Launch and support a refreshed Health & Safety communication strategy.
- Present insights and trend analysis to senior leadership.
- Guide stakeholders in setting meaningful Health & Safety targets.
- Advise on legislative changes and their impact on the business.
- Conduct site reviews and thematic assessments using risk matrices.
- Deliver training and support projects, including new site openings.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulators and external authorities.
- Help us maintain our RoSPA Gold Award status.
A Few Things About Our Ideal Health and Safety Business Partner:
- CertIOSH membership (CMIOSH preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication, influencing, and conflict management skills.
- Ability to collaborate across governance roles and all levels of the business.
- Excellent IT skills, including Excel and Power BI.
- Experience building high-quality reports and translating data into actionable insights.
- Self-motivated with great time management skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to AO sites or client locations.
