Health and Safety Manager

Our client is an international project management company currently involved in the construction project management of several large medical projects. To add to their existing team they require a Health and Safety Manager. You will be based at the company's main office with other core members of the project management team and will be required to fly to various project sites within KSA from time to time.

Duties
  • Initiating, developing and driving the implementation of Health and Safety Programmes within the program of work
  • Developing a suite of Health and Safety performance parameters that guide the work program toward, and motivate it to achieve, its health and safety goals
  • Providing specialist Health and Safety resources and advice to the project teams
  • Informing management of their legal responsibilities with respect to occupational Safety, Health and Welfare
  • Guiding the project team on the content of Health and Safety training
  • Ensuring appropriate and effective incident/injury recording and reporting mechanisms exist within the work programs
  • Acting as an interface with the National Government Body (Health and Safety Authority) regarding incidents, injuries and concerns
  • Regularly visiting the construction sites and auditing for compliance with legal and contractual obligations
Language Requirements
  • English - Very Good
  • Arabic - Fluent / Excellent
Requirements
  • Own a Car - Any
  • Have Driving License - Any
Job Skills
  • At least 15 years of experience
  • Major experience in Western countries with some experience in the Gulf region
  • Medical experience would be highly beneficial
  • Degree qualified
Conditions

An excellent basic tax free salary will be provided along with allowances for accommodation and transport. Regular flights and medical coverage are provided.
