Health and Safety Officer

We are seeking a proactive HSE / Safety Officer with at least 2 years of experience in construction projects, including high-rise building projects (G+12 and above). The candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring a safe and compliant work environment on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the project’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies.
• Conduct daily site inspections to identify and control potential hazards, particularly on high-rise structures.
• Ensure compliance with local safety regulations and project-specific safety requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety orientations, and basic safety training sessions.
• Prepare and maintain safety documentation, reports, and checklists.
• Monitor proper usage of PPE and enforce safety rules among workers.
• Assist in incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors on safety-related matters.

Requirements:

• Diploma or certification in Occupational Health & Safety (NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction site safety, including high-rise buildings.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures, risk assessment, and hazard control.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Ability to work on-site and handle fast-paced project conditions.
