Responsibilities:
Health & Safety Compliance:
‒ Support the implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and safety management systems across facilities.
‒ Ensure compliance with local HSE laws, Civil Defense requirements, and company standards.
‒ Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walkthroughs to identify hazards and non-compliance.
‒ Monitor contractor and vendor compliance with HSE requirements on-site.
Risk Assessment & Control
‒ Assist in conducting risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Method Statements (MS).
‒ Report on unsafe conditions, behaviors, and near-miss incidents.
‒ Support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate risks.
Incident Reporting & Investigation:
‒ Report, record, and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses.
‒ Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions.
‒ Maintain accurate HSE records, logs, and incident reports.
Training & Safety Awareness:
‒ Support HSE Specialists in delivering toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness campaigns.
‒ Promote safe working practices among technicians, subcontractors, and FM staff.
‒ Monitor site compliance with PPE usage and safety signage requirements.
Emergency Preparedness:
‒ Support emergency response planning and drills (fire, evacuation, first aid).
‒ Ensure emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits, signage) is available and in good condition.
‒ Coordinate with site teams during emergency situations.
Onsite HSE Operations
‒ Be present on-site to monitor health and safety compliance across facilities and project locations.
‒ Conduct daily site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and monitoring of high-risk activities.
‒ Enforce safe work practices and immediate correction of unsafe acts or conditions.
‒ Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with site safety rules.
Qualifications/Requirements
Education & Certification:
− Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
− Minimum 2–4 years of HSE experience, preferably within Facility Management, Construction, or Operations environments.
