Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with employees to help them set and achieve their health and wellness goals.
- Develop and deliver engaging workshops and seminars on various topics, including nutrition, stress management, fitness, and mindfulness.
- Create personalised wellness plans tailored to the unique needs and circumstances of individual employees.
- Promote a company-wide culture of health and well-being through proactive communication and engagement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Human Resources department to integrate wellness programmes into company policies and events.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of wellness initiatives, providing regular reports on participation and outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with the utmost professionalism.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in corporate wellness.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Health Coach, Wellness Coordinator, or in a similar role.
- A recognised certification in health or wellness coaching is essential.
- A degree in nutrition, public health, kinesiology, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A strong understanding of behaviour change principles and coaching techniques.
- Demonstrable ability to design and implement effective wellness programmes.
- A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgemental approach to coaching.
- Proficient in using standard office software for communication and record-keeping.
