Health Care Assistant

Typical duties and responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities: Help patients with essential tasks like bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and using the toilet.
• Monitor patient health: Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight. Observe patients for any changes in their physical or mental condition and report them to senior medical staff.
• Support mobility: Assist patients with moving around, including helping them in and out of bed, transferring to a wheelchair, or aiding with walking. Reposition bedridden patients to prevent pressure sores.
