Position: Health Care Associate Attorney
Location: Fully Remote (Oregon or Washington preferred, but will consider candidates nationally)
Practice Area: Health care regulatory, transactional, compliance, advisory
Seniority Level: Junior-to-Midlevel (2+ years experience)
Compensation: Competitive with AmLaw 200 firms

Hatfield Knivila is a Portland, OR-based, boutique law firm focused exclusively on counseling health care clients in the Pacific Northwest, including health systems, provider groups, payers, non-profit behavioral health providers, federally qualified health centers, health technology companies, etc. Founded by former partners at a leading AmLaw firm of the Mountain West, Hatfield Knivila helps clients navigate the complex intersection of law, policy, and health care operations. We are growing our team of health law specialists and seek an associate to join us in impactful, intellectually engaging work.
Position Summary
As a Health Care Associate, you will work directly with partners and senior attorneys in advising clients on a wide variety of sophisticated health care regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters. You will contribute to client projects including payer/provider contracting, regulatory compliance assessments, affiliations and joint ventures, professional and entity licensing, government audits and investigations, self-disclosures, and general health law counseling.
This is a fully remote position. Though we prefer candidates who live in (or would be willing to move to) Oregon or Washington, we will consider qualified candidates based anywhere in the United States. This is a partner-track position with an expectation of advancement and growth. This role requires at least 2 years of substantive experience advising health care industry clients (either in-house or in private practice) as well as excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
