Previous experience in in-person sales/marketing, community outreach, or admissions in senior care, healthcare, or related industry is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Minnesota senior care landscape and CADI waiver program basics is advantageous.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, listen actively, and communicate clearly with diverse populations.
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Ability to travel within Minnesota for community engagements; valid driver’s license and insured vehicle may be required.
Basic computer skills; experience with customer relationship management (CRM) systems preferred.

Compensation and Incentives
This is a referral-based compensation model. The Marketing Specialist is paid only when a qualifying referral results in resident admission.
Cadid CADI Waiver-Specific Incentive:
If the referred resident is enrolled in the CADI (Community Alternatives for Disabled Individuals) waiver program, the Marketing Specialist will receive:
$500 upon successful referral resulting in admission.
An additional $500 after the referred resident has successfully settled into Mount Zion Care Services LLC.
Total potential payout per CADI waiver referral: $1,000.
Timing and triggers:
Referral is deemed successful when the referred individual completes the admission process and signs the residency agreement (or as defined by Mount Zion’s admissions policy).
The follow-up payout (settlement) occurs after the resident has settled in accordance with internal policy (e.g., a defined stabilization period and confirmation from relevant departments).
All compensation is subject to applicable state and federal laws and Mount Zion’s internal policies. This role is not a salary position and does not include benefits unless otherwise stated in a separate agreement.

Compliance and Legal Considerations
All marketing activities must comply with Minnesota state regulations, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and anti-kickback statutes.
The role must avoid any inducements, fees, or commissions that could be construed as improper or illegal by regulatory authorities.
