Overall cleaning of the Fitness area to include, but not limited to: dusting, soiled towels and hand towels removal from changing rooms and Fitness area respectively, retrieval of clean linen from linen closets, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, Steam and Sauna cleaning, replenish supplies in Changing rooms and Fitness Area, removal of Garbage from Garbage bins in changing room and fitness area etc., as per Fairmont standards.
Attends pre-shift briefings and handover to Supervisor at end of shift.
Turn on and switch off Steam and Sauna before opening and after closing shift respectively.
Maintain proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Reports any problems or questions to Health club Supervisor.
Offer assistance to guest and heartists in a courteous manner.
Understand simple instructions, learn simple procedures and techniques.
Perform routine work or the same task daily.
To report instantly and turn over to security any lost and found items.
To report any equipment malfunctioning.
To report anything which may be a Health & Safety hazard.
Maintain excellent grooming and uniform standards.
Read, Understand and follow all department policies.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in luxury hotel environment desirable but not essential
High School diploma, vocational training and/or 1 year work experience.
Fluent in English (written & verbal) essential.
Friendly and pleasant disposition with people interaction skills.
Highly level of personal cleanliness and grooming. Previous Fitness center experience preferred
