Health Club Operations Manager

The Role
Job Purpose The Health Club Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of the hotel’s health club and spa facilities, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, smooth operational efficiency, and achievement of revenue targets. This role requires strong leadership, a customer-focused mindset, and an in-depth understanding of fitness, wellness, and spa operations in a luxury hospitality setting. A little taste of your day-to-day: - Managing the overall operations of the Health Club, Spa, and recreational facilities including pool, gym, and wellness areas. - Leading, training, and motivating a diverse team of fitness instructors, therapists, lifeguards, and reception staff to deliver high standards of service. - Ensuring all facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained, complying with health and safety regulations. - Developing and implementing membership programs, wellness promotions, and packages to increase revenue and guest loyalty. - Monitoring guest feedback and resolving service issues to maintain a world-class guest experience. - Coordinating with Sales & Marketing to promote health club facilities and special offers. - Managing departmental budgets, expense control, and financial performance to meet revenue goals. - Building and maintaining strong relationships with hotel guests, members, and local partners. - Regularly analyzing usage trends and market demands to optimize service offerings and pricing. - Representing the hotel at health, wellness, and lifestyle events in the local community.

Requirements
  • Candidate must be based in Kuwait with strong market knowledge and networks. - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Sports Science, Fitness Management, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in health club, spa, or fitness center operations, preferably in luxury hotels or resorts. - Proven track record of managing teams, memberships, and revenue-driven wellness programs. - Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills. - Knowledge of health, fitness, spa, and wellness trends. - Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control. - Fluency in English required; Arabic is an advantage. - Certification in fitness, lifeguarding, or first aid is a plus. - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
