Health Informatics Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Health Informatics Analyst supports the effective use of healthcare data and information systems to improve patient care, quality outcomes, and operational performance. This role analyzes clinical and operational data, collaborates with clinical, IT, and leadership teams to optimize electronic health record (EHR) systems and reporting. Ensures data accuracy, promotes standardization, and leverages analytics to support decision-making, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.


HOURS:

Full-time, 80 hours per pay period, Monday - Friday.


QUALIFICATIONS

Three to five years of professional experience in health care. Experience with medical/nursing/health informatics preferred. One year experience working with an EHR or EHR super user preferred. Must be able to work effectively with multiple priorities and work well with people. Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Power Point, electronic medical record, Outlook. Has basic understanding of coding systems (CPT, DRG, ICD-10,-CM/PCS).
