The Health Information Consulting Services Client Executive is responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing client relationships within the healthcare provider markets. This role focuses on selling a portfolio of Health Information Technology services and related professional services—including EHR Advisory, Implementation, Optimization, and Support, Legacy Data Management, Document Management, Duplicate Patient Cleanup, and Clinical Data Abstraction.
The ideal candidate is a consultative, high-energy sales professional who understands healthcare IT strategies, operations, workflows, and priorities of hospitals, health systems, and large medical groups. Proactive, relationship-driven, highly organized, and passionate about supporting healthcare clients with excellence.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted, long-term relationships.
- Understand each customer’s business goals, challenges, and service expectations.
- Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and performance updates.
- Have a combined 10 meetings a week of Networking, Current Client and Prospective client meetings.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery for each account.
- Monitor program performance, client utilization, and satisfaction metrics.
- Identify issues proactively and drive timely resolutions.
- Ensure clients receive accurate, timely communication and support.
- Identify opportunities to expand services, strengthen customer engagement, and increase retention.
- Support renewal planning and partner with leadership on proposal or pricing needs.
- Promote best practices to help clients maximize the value of e4health services.
- Maintain detailed account documentation, call notes, and client history.
- Use CRM and internal systems to track interactions, needs, and follow-up tasks.
- Support onboarding activities for new clients or expanded services.
- Prepare reports, data summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in healthcare IT services and solutions consulting, EMR, Clinical and Revenue Cycle Application implementation, optimization and support, legacy data management, data conversion and validation.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Experience with technology tool including Salesforce, ZoomInfo and Definitive Health platforms, and basic reporting.
- Skilled in consultative selling, needs assessment, and solution development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed (30–50%).
- Established relationships within hospital IT leadership.
- Knowledge and ability to speak of IT and HIM dependencies, selling services such document management, MPI remediation and clinical data abstraction.
- Experience navigating cross-functional teams.
