Description Of Duties/Essential Functions
Under general direction, serves as a staff assistant to the Chief Labor Relations Administrator; performs a variety of special project assignment duties of an administrative and confidential nature; assists in researching documentation to obtain facts relating to labor/employee relations administrative matters; coordinates labor relations issues between the Chief Labor Relations Administrator, Transactions Division, Classification Division, Payroll Division, Internal Security Office and EEO Office; monitors and maintains control of new and follow-up assignments for the Chief Labor Relations Administrator; maintains the Grievance Tracking System; performs special project assignments as directed.
Minimum Requirements
Requires equivalency to four years of college; requires one year professional administrative experience preferably in the
Labor relations area; requires working knowledge of collective bargaining agreement language; requires working knowledge
of personal computers and related software; requires ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with
Agency employees and others; requires ability to develop, install and evaluate new methods and procedures for Labor
Relations functions and programs.
