Health Safety Environment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering and possess 8–10 years of proven experience in implementing, managing, and improving HSE policies and procedures within an industrial, construction, or engineering environment.

The HSE Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all activities, processes, and operations are carried out in compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies and international best practices. This role requires fluency in the Arabic language, enabling effective communication with a diverse workforce, clients, and regulatory authorities in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop, implement, and maintain HSE management systems, policies, and procedures.

· Conduct risk assessments, hazard analyses, and incident investigations, and recommend corrective actions.

· Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.

· Provide HSE training and awareness sessions to employees at all levels.

· Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies regarding safety and environmental matters.

· Prepare and maintain HSE documentation, reports, and performance metrics.

· Lead safety audits, inspections, and emergency drills.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (any discipline).

· 8–10 years of professional HSE experience in a relevant industry.

· In-depth knowledge of local and international HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

· Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in English is an advantage.

· Professional HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are highly desirable.
