Health & Safety Manager - UAE National

We are looking for a Health & Safety Manager to ensure full compliance with UAE federal, emirate, and municipal HSE regulations across hotels and other business entities. The role will lead the development, implementation, and monitoring of health, safety, and environmental systems, creating a safe, legally compliant, and risk-controlled workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with UAE Labour Law, MOHRE requirements, Civil Defense, Municipality, and Environmental Authority regulations.

• Develop and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and systems aligned with UAE laws and international standards.

• Act as the main contact for inspections, audits, and approvals from regulatory authorities.

• Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and HSE audits.

• Lead investigations of accidents, incidents, and near-misses, implementing corrective actions.

• Manage permits, certifications, licenses, and safety approvals in line with local laws.

• Deliver mandatory HSE training, inductions, and toolbox talks.

• Monitor contractor and third-party compliance with HSE regulations.

• Promote a proactive safety culture across all departments.

Requirements:

• Proven HSE management experience in hotels or multi-entity operations in the UAE.

• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations.

• Relevant HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) preferred.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• UAE National preferred.
