Overview:
**This position is Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote, with flexibility to vary.**

Monday-Friday, Day Shift

Purpose Statement/Position Summary:
The Health Science & Behavioral Research Associate I is under the supervision of the Research Associates/Research Managers, will assist the PI Dr. Jessica Schwartzman in coordinating research studies including participant recruitment, scheduling study visits, data collection (e.g., clinical interviews, EEG tasks, eyetracking tasks, surveys), data entry and maintenance using REDCap, and/or study documentation. Conducts literature searches, writes summary documents, and may participate in the design of studies and metrics. Will assist in clinical interviewing, electroencephalogram (EEG) methodologies, clinical trials, and/or clinical research with autistic youth.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience:

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with electroencephalogram (EEG) methodologies and eyetracking tasks.
  • Experience in clinical research with autistic youth.
  • Experience with interviewing and recruiting project participants.
  • Experience using CASI interviewing tools.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. College education in related discipline preferred.
Pay Scale Information: CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization. Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, education and experience within the job or the industry. The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates who meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates who exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
