Position Title: Health Services Director

Position Summary:

Incumbent is responsible for supervising and directing assigned personnel, providing division program oversight for communicable disease investigations, immunizations, school health, chronic disease, maternal and child health, harm reduction, and health education to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, and overseeing clinical services for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases. This position is responsible for serving as the department’s HIPAA Privacy Officer to ensure compliance and conduct routine training for current and new employees and serves as the Vaccines for Children Program Coordinator. Candidate must be able to plan and oversee employee work schedules for optimal division efficiency and ensure annual goals and key performance indicators are met.

Qualifications:

A Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution and Indiana nursing license required. Prior management experience required.

Salary: Starting annual salary $59,187 plus full government benefits. Exempt status, 35 hours per week required: 8:00am-4:00pm, some evenings and weekends may be required for health clinics, public meetings, or health emergencies
