Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Location: Grand Junction, Colorado
Benefits: Pay: $17.50- $19.50

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday shifts between 7:45 AM–6:30 PM (varies by day).
Includes rotating Saturday mornings (8:45 AM–12:30 PM), ~4 per quarter.
Consistent weekly schedule.

We are in search of a Chiropractic Assistant to join our team, where you will be the heartbeat of our office. In this role, you will be supporting patient care, creating a welcoming environment, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Experience

  • Greet and check in patients with a warm, professional attitude
  • Assist patients with paperwork and ensure accurate records
  • Prepare patients for treatments and therapies

Clinical Support

  • Assist the chiropractor with therapies (e.g., modalities, positioning, basic prep)
  • Clean and prepare treatment rooms between patients
  • Follow all safety and sanitation protocols

Administrative Duties

  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily calendar
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and handle patient communication
  • Process payments and maintain basic billing records

Office Support

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
  • Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Chiropractic Required Qualifications (Must-Haves)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills (scheduling systems, email, data entry)
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Positive attitude and a genuine passion for helping others

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

· Background in biology, exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field (highly preferred)

· Medical Assistant certification or equivalent clinical experience (highly preferred)

  • Previous experience in a medical, chiropractic, or wellness office
  • Experience with scheduling or EMR systems
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Bilingual
