Healthcare Attorney

We are looking for a passionate associate to join our boutique law firm specializing in healthcare law, mergers and acquisitions, employment and general business consultation as well as medical malpractice defense litigation. We are committed to providing personalized legal services to our clients to assist with compliance, risk management issues and to address legal challenges in the healthcare industry.

**Position Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Attorney with a minimum of 2-3 years experience (licensure)

Experience in business, healthcare or employment law is a plus but not required.

Proficiency in using Clio and Westlaw is required.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Provide legal advice and support to clients on regulatory compliance, risk management, and contractual matters.

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to healthcare operations.

- Stay updated on changes in business, employment, healthcare laws and regulations to ensure clients are informed and compliant.

- Represent clients in legal proceedings, hearings, and negotiations as needed.

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, and other relevant legislation is a plus.

- Experience with medical malpractice, litigation, health insurance provider and hospital claims, or employment law is a plus.

- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to address complex legal issues.

**Qualifications:**

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

- Active license to practice law in Florida

- Proficiency in using Clio and Westlaw.

- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
