We are expanding and seeking an experienced healthcare sales professional to grow referral partnerships and drive new client acquisition.
This is a performance-driven, revenue-generating role — not a marketing assistant position.
Position Summary
The Community Outreach & Business Development Representative is responsible for:
- Building referral relationships
- Generating qualified leads
- Conducting client consultations
- Closing service agreements
- Driving monthly revenue growth
This is a field-based role requiring strong relationship-building and closing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Development
- Conduct 20–25 in-person facility visits per week
- Build relationships with discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and executive directors
- Schedule and conduct presentations and lunch-and-learns
- Maintain bi-weekly follow-up with priority referral partners
- Represent iCare at networking and community events
Lead Generation & Sales
- Conduct consultations (in-person or virtual)
- Present service plans and pricing
- Address objections and educate families
- Close service agreements
- Ensure CRM documentation accuracy
- Follow up on inquiries within 24 hours
Pipeline & Performance
- Maintain at least 15 active qualified opportunities
- Submit weekly activity reports
- Participate in weekly sales meetings
- Meet or exceed monthly revenue targets
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–3+ years of healthcare, home care, hospice, or medical sales experience
- Proven track record of building referral relationships
- Demonstrated ability to close service-based sales
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated and results-driven
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred:
- Experience in Wisconsin healthcare market
- Existing referral relationships in assigned territory
- CRM experience
